Having made a good relationship with our previous client Mrs. Annu Matthai and her family, we were pleased to receive a phone call from her sister, Mrs. Anita George for doing her son, Raoul’s engagement with Sneha.
It was an intimate home affair with just close family a light snack or two. The decor was simple yet traditional with a lot of Marigolds (Genda).
It meant a lot to us for being thought of again and for this we thank Mrs. Anita George and Mrs. Annu Matthai . We are proud to inform that Wedding Tales is also planning their wedding in Jan 2014. Full story below !!
We love it when a family member from one of our past weddings call us and tell us they want us to help plan their wedding. Raoul is Thanos’ cousin. Thanos & Catherine were one of our first ever clients. So we were ecstatic when Raoul’s mother Mrs. Anita George called us regarding Raoul’s wedding with Sneha. We made sure that they got everything they wanted within the budget specified by them.
The wedding consisted of 3 functions. Day one was a mehendi cum sangeet at Itis Suites. We kept it simple with marigold work on the gazebo as well as gold matka’s to bring out the traditional feel. We also had cute 5 sided diyas for when the sun set.
Day two saw a traditional Hindu wedding at a temple early in the morning. We gave them a simple fabric mandap with floral bouquets used as accents. That evening we had a Blessing cum Reception at the Chancery Pavilion. We wrapped fairy lights around the poolside pillars and hung Rose balls between each pillar. We did a half-floral & half- fabric entry arch and a backdrop with flowers, fabric and lights. It was a beautiful blessing followed by a dance filled fun reception.
This was a fun wedding to do. We enjoyed planning it thoroughly. Our thanks to Mr. and Mrs. George for placing their trust in us.
Congratulations to Raoul & Sneha!
