ANANT & YASMINA
Enthusiastic, spunky and creative best describe Rose and Noor of Wedding Tales who helped make our son's wedding a truly special & memorable event. They are extremely hard working and their invaluable inputs made the planning stage, usually marked by stress and a lot of running around, smooth and tension free! They did a splendid job on the decorations and took care of minor details, leaving us to focus on spending time with our guests and enjoying the event. The mandap decor was especially fabulous. We are sure they will grow from strength to strength as they gain more experience and we wish them well on perfecting their craft and passion!

As wedding planners we love doing fusion weddings as they are full of flavor and color. Anant and Yasmina’s wedding was one such wedding. Anant is a Mathur boy and Yasmina is a Moroccan girl. We largely dealt with Anant’s parents for the planning process as the couple lives abroad. Mr. and Mrs. Mathur were clients who knew what they wanted but were still open to new ideas and suggestions.
The wedding consisted of 4 functions. Day one lunch was a small intimate mehendi function at Novotel Hotel. In this case it was more a “family meeting after ages and catching up with each othe
r” function. It was a super fun function and set the perfect mood for the sangeet in the evening. We kept it simple with just a nice Marigold backdrop for Yasmina to sit in front of. We gave out a set of four bangles to all the women.
The sangeet saw great performances by Anant’s family members and an impromptu performance by Yasmina’s sisters. We danced the night away under a canopy of fabric and fairy lights.
The next morning was the Hindu style wedding complete with a beautiful red, yellow and gold mandap. A cute wedding wrapped up in an hour followed by a great family portrait and lunch. You know when people enjoyed a wedding if they laze around after, discussing it.
The final event in this wedding was the reception. It was held at ITC Gardenia. We welcomed the guests with a custom designed floral table piece just as they got off the lift followed by 4 arches leading up to the main door. The arches were a mix of fabric, lights, Chrysanthemums and Daisies. Inside a two tier chocolate fudge cake with fresh roses awaited Anant and Yasmina.
This wedding was a pleasure to do. We would like to thank Mr. & Mrs. Mathur for their faith and support in us.
Congratulations to Anant and Yasmina.
