We would like to thank The Taj West End, Bangalore, for recommending our services to Mrs. Rekha Das Thakur (mother of the bride).
Meghna, a half Bengali, half South Indian girl got married to Andrew an all American boy whom she had been dating for a long time. With just two months to plan the wedding and both the bride and groom living in America, this one was definitely a task for Wedding tales.
The wedding consisted of a very traditional wedding ceremony on the 29th of March at the Prince of Wales Lawns at The Taj West End, Bangalore. This wedding gave us our prized possession, our all Mogra (Jasmine) Mandap. A theme of Yellow, Orange and Red ran across every aspect of the decor right from the Bandhani chair covers to the table centers.
The evening reception was at the Taj West End Ballroom. If the wedding ceremony was traditional, then the reception was anything but. Purple and pink shiffon with a hundred fairy lights behind, flanked all the walls of the Ballroom.
The staircase to the ballroom was lit with two hundred candles surrounded by orchids. The sight from afar exuded a fairy tale like glow.
The reception was complete with cake cutting and emotional speeches followed by dancing the night away.
We would like to thank Mr. Mallay Das Thakur & Mrs. Rekha Das Thakur for giving us a chance to be a part of their daughter’s wedding. We Congratulate Meghna & Andrew for their Indian wedding and their Idaho wedding which happened in August, 2013.
