M & C
When our daughter’s wedding was finalized, we knew that there would be four separate events and we were looking for an outdoor and open air setting for each of these. We also knew that as two busy professionals, we would need help in planning out the wedding details.
Enter Wedding Tales! They were first recommended to us by the good folks over at the Taj West End. What we saw on the Wedding Tales’ website further appealed to us. And after our first meeting with the charming and dynamic duo—Noor and Roseline---we knew we had the right planners. Their youthful exuberance, novel ideas, and can-do attitude charmed us.
Planning and working through the details of the wedding with Wedding Tales proved to be both enjoyable and efficient. Communication via email was as effective as in-person meetings. Though young, they have an uncanny intuition of what a particular client would like. They were always prompt, highly organized, came prepared with at least three different choices for every event detail, and to top it all, brought in lots of laughter and humour! They introduced us to a host of vendors and each one worked out excellently.
What was the best part? They, along with their numerous partners and vendors, helped us realize each dream we had for the wedding, both aesthetically and logistically. The venues, the lighting, the décor, the flow of events … everything was perfect. The best compliment we both got was that we did not look the part of typically harried ‘’bride’s parents’’! We were able to enjoy every minute with our guests and family!
Thank you Wedding Tales! Wishing you lots of success and may you touch many more parent’s most important day of their lives with your unique combination of creative ideas backed by seamless execution with aplomb.
Daya & Mruthyunjay Kori
(Parents of the Bride)
As wedding planners we have done many weddings. And we have had all kinds of clients – the good, the fun, the organized, the not-so-organized, etc. But for the first time ever, we came across the calmest client. No hassle, no fuss. In fact we worked like a well-oiled machine with them. Mrs. Daya Kori got our contact information from The Taj West End. We hit it off immediately. We met Mrs. Kori and Malavika all of 6 times during the planning of this wedding. Everything happened over email and so smoothly. It was every wedding planner’s dream!
The wedding consisted of 3 fun filled functions. Day one saw a mehendi cum sangeet at The Gateway Hotel. Malavika wanted a bright Moroccan theme for this. We gave her 2 bright orange tents for the mehendi artists in the outside area. We gave her a pathway of hanging glass lamps with lights inside and Rose petals on the floor. For the bar area we did fabric and lights and inside the hall we did a whole bunch of Moroccan props. A video montage started the night off.
Day two was the wedding at Woodland Hotel. Unfortunately, we couldn’t do much here. But we did make all the Thambulams for the guests. For the ladies we did baskets with red net and gold ribbon and for the men we did beige and orange bags.
Day three we did an outdoor reception at The Taj West End lawns. We used lights… a lot of lights. We hung them from the trees, lined the pathway, covered the bushes, etc. We also did a backdrop with lanterns and roses.
We would like to send out our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Kori for being one of our ‘Best Client Ever’!
Congratulations M & C.
